So its official (sorta) Im starting a weekly (hopefully) segment to showcase some of the artists who inspire us here at Ownd. Music is and has been a huge influence in our lives growing up. Music has helped bring us to where we are in life, inspire us to be great, remember special moments, and give us strength to push through the darker days.

This weekend we headed over to give and show a little support for the North Shore 5K Caner Run.

This wall was huge, and wrapped all the way around a tree. All signatures and fond memories of loved ones.

Awhile back I had the pleasure of meeting Jared and Mark, the driving creative forces behind the Seattle-based, Zombie Studios. These dudes are no joke, they not only knock out blockbuster video games like Saw 2, but also write and create original print comics like Shrapnel. When it came time for them to release their newest gaming epic at E3 this year, Blacklight: Tango Down we jumped at the chance to smash our creative heads together at a million miles an hour.

This game, in a word, AWESOME. Not only the concept, but the fact that these guys are doing this project as download-only for XBox, PC, and PS3 -for $15….. fifteen bucks… when almost everything else of this caliber is stealing your lunch money and beating your ass after school for $50+
